1. What we collect
Vibe-in is built to ask for as little as possible. When you sign up we only store your nickname and a hashed (irreversible) copy of your password. If you set up account recovery, we store your chosen questions and hashed answers — never the plain-text answers.
We also store the messages you send, which vibe you're currently in, and basic activity timestamps (like when you were last online) so the app can show presence and message history.
2. What we don't collect
No email address, no phone number, and no real name is ever required. Messages are text and emoji only — we don't accept links or image uploads, so there's nothing to scan or store beyond the words you type.
3. Who can see your information
Your nickname and online status are visible to other people inside the same vibe. Messages you send are only visible to you and the person you're chatting with. We never sell or share your data with advertisers or third parties.
4. Safety, blocking, and reports
If you block someone, they can no longer message you or see you online. If you report a conversation, our moderation team reviews the reported messages to keep the community safe. Report records are kept only as long as needed to review and act on them.
5. Data retention & deletion
We keep your account and message history for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by reaching out through the contact details below.
